- There's a project coming to North Myrtle Beach in 2023 that is expected to create nearly 150 jobs in Horry County and the city of NMB. For legal reasons, Horry County Administrators say, the exact nature of "Project Cook" cannot be revealed at this time. The name is an alias for the company that will be bringing the project to the area — for the time being it wants to remain anonymous. The project is supposed to benefit the public in many ways. Details are expected to be revealed in 2023 after the HC Administration Committee has a third reading of an ordinance pertaining to the project. (wpde.com)

About me: The best decision I ever made was relocating to the Myrtle Beach area from New England a few years ago, with my three dogs and three cats. I enjoy dogs, cats, road trips, photography, writing, vegetarian food, live music, bicycling and above all my daily walks on the beaches in and around the Grand Strand.
