The collision happened around 7:10 a.m., and while details remain limited, authorities confirm injuries were reported. Residents who travel that area should be aware of the incident as more information is expected.
3. 8 arrested in undercover Greenville trafficking, prostitution sting (greenvilleonline.com) — Law enforcement agencies, including the Simpsonville Police Department, recently coordinated on human trafficking and prostitution stings that led to multiple arrests tied to massage businesses in Mauldin and Simpsonville. A newer undercover operation on Greenville's west side resulted in eight more arrests, as deputies continue targeting those who fuel commercial sex exploitation across southern Greenville County.
4. Lima One Capital funds attainable home construction in Upstate (whosonthemove.com) — A new Eleanor Farms neighborhood in Gray Court is bringing more attainable single-family homes just minutes from Simpsonville, Fountain Inn, and Woodruff. Funded by Greenville-based Lima One Capital and built by Kristopher Homes, the project targets first-time buyers and local workers with prices below typical Upstate medians. The partners say they aim to ease the region's tight housing supply.
