With four wins in their last five home matches and a 6-4-1 record, Summerville now turns its focus to Thursday's road test against Stratford.
   

• Summerville shooting suspect surrenders after early morning apartment attack (live5news.com) — An early-morning shooting at Cambridge Apartments in Summerville left one person hospitalized, and deputies have arrested 25-year-old Demetrius Levar Taylor on multiple serious charges. Taylor turned himself in at the Summerville Police Department and is now held at the L.C. Knight Detention Center while Dorchester County investigators continue their work.
   

• Dorchester County sheriff to launch countywide town hall series with first stop in Knightsville (counton2.com) — Dorchester County Sheriff Sam Richardson is launching a countywide public safety town hall series, with the first meeting set for 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Knightsville Elementary School. With Summerville Mayor Pro Tem Richard Waring IV and county councilmen attending, residents from Knightsville and nearby Summerville neighborhoods can ask questions, raise concerns, and hear about current law enforcement priorities across the county.
