Multiple agencies assist in pursuit of stolen truck in Brookings County (dakotanewsnow.com) — Early Monday, a multi-county law enforcement pursuit of a stolen F-550 ended in Brookings County when spike strips disabled the truck near exit 180 on I-29. Brookings County deputies and police helped capture two juveniles without further incident, and several regional agencies are now assisting with the ongoing investigation.

Deer linked to 2 crashes in Brookings County (brookingsregister.com) — Two early-morning crashes involving deer on U.S. Highway 14 near Volga and between Brookings and Volga sent one Brookings woman to Brookings Health System and destroyed two vehicles.
