Local and visiting experts discussed homelessness, suicide risk, access to care, and how public health professionals and community support can better serve the roughly 65,000 veterans living in South Dakota.
   

• MPCC rodeo teams finish top two at Jackrabbit Stampede (huskeradio.com) — Rodeo fans in Brookings just saw Mid-Plains Community College shine at South Dakota State University’s Jackrabbit Stampede, with the women’s team winning and the men’s team taking second. Multiple riders from MPCC placed across events from saddle bronc to bull riding, and the teams now look ahead to their next competition in Spearfish later this month.
