• Shipley's Garment Spa closing after 124 years of business (keloland.com) — A 124-year Sioux Falls staple, Shipley's Garment Spa, is closing after decades of serving local dry-cleaning and laundry customers. Final production will run through October 22, with pickups and phone calls available until November 6. Route service ends immediately, but customers can still bring items to the office before operations wind down for good. 
• Wolves Drop 1-0 Affair to USF on Pitch (hubcityradio.com) — A Northern State soccer trip to Sioux Falls ended in a tight 1-0 loss to the University of Sioux Falls, despite a strong defensive showing and three saves from goalkeeper Audrey Burns. The Cougars broke a scoreless tie early in the second half, while the Wolves managed just four shots overall. Sioux Falls fans saw USF improve to 4-3-4 on the season.
