The board reversed a controversial part-time enrollment policy affecting homeschoolersā access to Sterling High School classes, approved updated athletic handbooks for SHS and Sterling Middle School, and briefly revisited an assistant football coachās status.

⢠Federal judge allows retaliation claims to proceed against prison officials (coloradopolitics.com) ā A federal judge has allowed key retaliation claims to move forward in a lawsuit by a disabled man incarcerated at Sterling Correctional Facility, who says staff cut his electricity and threatened segregation after he filed grievances. While some allegations were narrowed, the court found his descriptions of lost accommodations and threats serious enough to potentially violate constitutional and disability protections, keeping the case alive.
