• CT police chiefs defend license plate cameras amid public outcry (wshu.org) — New Britain has recently approved using license plate-reading cameras, even as some Connecticut towns reject the technology and the governor urges a pause. • Bronx man arrested in Connecticut allegedly stole 27 bottles of NyQuil and DayQuil from CVS (fox61.com) — A man accused of stealing about $1,000 in cold medicine from a Wilton CVS also has outstanding warrants tied to missed court dates in New Britain and Middletown.
