• Wolcott sends champion Plowboys home, earns first finals berth since 2014 (collinsvillepress.com) — Torrington’s Fuessenich Park will host Game 1 of the Tri-State League championship Friday night at 7 p.m., featuring the Wolcott Scrappers against Burlington. Wolcott earned its first finals berth since 2014 by rallying past defending champion Bethlehem, setting up a best-of-three series that will partly unfold in front of local fans.
