• Delaware transportation council rejects grant for ASPIRA Georgetown (delawareonline.com) — ASPIRA’s bilingual charter school, which now operates in Newark, is facing another delay-related hurdle as Delaware’s transportation council rejected a $900,000 grant tied to its planned Georgetown expansion. The denial, based on rules limiting funds to businesses, forces project leaders to seek new financing but they still aim to open the Sussex County campus in fall 2027.
