• Conservancy of SWFL releases nature-based Flood Resilience Blueprint (wgcu.org) — Naples is serving as the test site for a new Flood Resilience Blueprint that explores nature-based protections like mangroves and living shorelines instead of relying only on seawalls and drainage systems. Developed by the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, the plan maps where these strategies could work best, offering Naples residents insight into future flood and storm defenses.

• Alba Cuka, 16, beats leukemia, reunites with Golisano on volleyball court (winknews.com) — A Naples Classical Academy volleyball match in North Naples became a powerful celebration as 16-year-old student-athlete Alba Cuka, now in remission from leukemia, reunited with a former Golisano Children’s Hospital leader who supported her through treatment. The Childhood Cancer Awareness Month game, with gold jerseys sponsored by Golisano, highlighted Alba’s journey from bedridden patient to thriving player, inspiring other local families facing cancer.
