2 Car Thieves Arrested After 8-Mile Chase From East Nashville To South Nashville: Police
An officer in an unmarked police car spotted a stolen car on Shelby Avenue, starting a pursuit that ended in Glencliff Wednesday.

NASHVILLE, TN — Two alleged car thieves led an unmarked Metro Police car on a nearly eight-mile chase Wednesday.
The officer spotted a car which had been reported stolen on Shelby Avenue in East Nashville and began his pursuit. The driver then headed out of the East End and towards South Nashville, eventually getting on to Antioch Pike. The two people leaped out of the car at Glencliff Elementary School and fled, but were later found and arrested, according to police.
