4 Teens Arrested After Fight Near Overton High School, Auto Theft: Police
Four teenagers were found with stolen handguns and shotguns inside a stolen SUV, according to Metro Police.

NASHVILLE, TN — Four teenagers were arrested near Overton High School Thursday with stolen guns and hundreds in cash inside a stolen SUV, according to Metro Nashville Police.
Initially responding to a fight call across the street from the South Nashville high school around 2:15 p.m., police say four suspects flee in a Toyota Highlander. Detective Floyd Brown tracked the SUV to Nolensville Pike and then stopped it at a Shell station on Harding Place near Interstate 24. The driver, later identified as 19-year-old Ronderious Sanders, punched the gas and as he sped off, nearly struck another police car.
Sanders eventually crashed the SUV into another car at Hamilton Church Road and Murfreesboro Pike, roughly six miles away. The driver of the other car was not hurt. Sanders and his three passengers — two 17-year-olds and a 15-year-old — were arrested after a brief foot chase. Investigators believe the quartet began the fight that started the incident as part of an on-going dispute with an Overton student. Only one of the four — one of the 17-year-olds — is an Overton student.
