Missing Antioch Woman Found Safe In Georgia

ANTIOCH, TN — An 82-year-old Antioch woman who had not been seen since she left work in Murfreesboro Wednesday afternoon was found safe in Georgia.

Joan Haynes worked at a private residence on Sawyer Drive in Murfreesboro Wednesday and left at approximately 3 p.m. but did not return to her daughter’s home.

Haynes' daughter told police her mother typically would leave work, drive to her family property in Readyville, in Cannon County, to check the mail, before returning to the daughter's home in Antioch.

Haynes was returned by family after she was found in Georgia.
