Antioch Shooting Victim Crashes Into Parked Cars, Dies

A man died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after being shot and then crashing into a number of cars in Antioch.

ANTIOCH, TN — A man who crashed into several cars in Antioch after being shot died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center Saturday.

Police said the man was on Bell Road driving towards Cane Ridge Road around 11 p.m. Saturday when he sideswiped a vehicle and then swerved into the Antioch Quarters Inn, hitting at least five parked cars. After the crash, he was taken to the hospital, where doctors said he'd been shot at least once prior to the wreck. He was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt.
