Body Found In River By Antioch Fisherman

ANTIOCH, TN — An angler in Antioch found a body floating in the Stones River late Thursday.

Police received a call from the fisherman around 7 p.m., who said he found the body near the Hobson Pike bridge.

The body of the male victim was found on an embankment just off the path into the woods near the bridge. The victim was not immediately identified.

The medical examiner was called in but no cause of death was released.
