3-Year-Old Girl Killed In Massive Antioch Apartment Fire
A 3-year-old girl was killed and three members of her family were hospitalized after a devastating fire at an Antioch apartment complex.

ANTIOCH, TN — A 3-year-old girl died and three of her family members are hospitalized following a massive and devastating fire at an Antioch apartment complex early Monday morning.
The fire at the Stone Ridge apartments on Piccadilly Row broke out around 4 a.m. The family lived in a lower-level unit, where the fire began before spreading to the upper floors. Several other apartments were damaged.

Elizabeth Dessie, 3, died in the fire. Her father is burned over 80 percent of his body and her mother has burns on her hands. Another child was hospitalized as a precaution. All three of the injured are at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.

Eight units were destroyed, displacing 22 people. The American Red Cross is assisting those families.
