Crossing Guard Hit By Car Outside J.E. Moss Elementary in Antioch
The crossing guard was struck by a hit-and-run driver before the start of school Monday.

ANTIOCH, TN — A crossing guard at J.E. Moss Elementary School in Antioch was struck by a hit-and-run driver outside of the school Monday morning.
Lemuel Frazier, 58, was directing traffic at Richards Road and Dowdy Drive when he was hit by a car around 7:15 a.m. Frazier injured his knee and was taken to Southern Hills Medical Center for treatment.
Witnesses described the driver as an Asian male with black hair driving a red sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Aveo. The car may be missing the passenger side mirror.

Police said they have issued 168 citations for people speeding in a school zone since school started Aug. 5.
