Crown Royal Usurped From Another Nashville Liquor Store

Liquor store break-ins are on the rise across Davidson County and Crown Royal is a popular target for thieves, apparently.

NASHVILLE, TN β€” Once again, Crown Royal was the target in another smash-and-grab liquor store robbery early Wednesday.

Metro Police say someone used a heavy object to break the glass door of Vine Street Wine and Spirits near the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Edmondson Pike around 4 a.m. Wednesday. Seven bottles of Crown Royal Canadian whisky were stolen.

Both the modus operandi and the burgled booze are similar to a break-in at a Madison liquor store earlier this month.

Police said Wednesday's robbery was the fourth liquor store break-in in the last two weeks across Metro.
