Driver Dead In South Nashville Crash, TDOT Workers Injured
A 52-year-old man crossed the center line on Nolesnville Road Thursday afternoon, hitting a TDOT Ford Explorer.

NASHVILLE, TN — A Thursday afternoon wreck on Nolensville Pike killed a 52-year-old man and injured two TDOT workers.
Metro Police say that Hong Thai, 52, of South Nashville died from his injuries at Vanderbilt University Medical Cneter, Thai was driving a Nissan Sentra southbound and then, for unknown reasons, crossed into the northbound lanes near Old Hickory Boulevard, hitting a Ford Explorer.

The two men in the Explorer — 22-year-old William Padgett and 37-year-old Jason Burton — are Tennessee Department of Transportation employees who were working on a surveying job. They received minor injuries and were treated at Southern Hills Medical Center.
