Family Clears Suspect In Nashville Murder

Metro Police say the family of a 23-year-old arrested for a murder at Napier Homes provided evidence he was not involved.

NASHVILLE, TN — An man accused of a murder in the Napier-Sudekum neighborhood has been cleared based on evidence provided by his family, Metro Police announced.

Charles Fleming III, 23, was arrested for involvement in last month's shooting death of 32-year-old Carlos Moran, but detectives say he Fleming's family had evidence he was not involved. Lemonderius Goodner, 22, was arrested with Fleming for the murder. Goodner's case is headed for the grand jury, while Fleming has been released.
