Family Escapes Hurricane Matthew, Rolls Minivan on I-24
The family had been vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale; no one was hurt in the crash.
ANTIOCH, TN — A family fleeing Florida ahead of Hurricane Matthew made it to Nashville only to flip their minivan.
Just after 3 a.m. Friday, another driver hit the minivan on Interstate 24 West near Haywood Lane, causing it to flip across the interstate, police said.
Though the accident looked bad, no one was injured. The family was returning from an scrubbed vacation in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
