Four Arrested As Drugs, Guns, Cash Seized In Massive Bust: Police

Cocaine, heroin and hundreds of thousands in cash were seized during a bust in South Nashville, according to police.

NASHVILLE, TN — After a six-month investigation, Metro Police arrested four men on drug conspiracy charges and seized 4.4 pounds of cocaine, six ounces of heroin, 5 pistols, 10 vehicles and more than $300,000 cash.

Investigators sas Moctezuma Quezadaparre, 32, of Pleasant Hill Road, supplied cocaine and heroin to Andrew Wade, 31, of Aspen Drive, and Earl Covington, 29, of Willow Branch Drive.

Police say Wade ten sold cocaine and heroin Herman Blacksmith, 38, of Morganmeade Drive, who acted as the conduit to street dealers.

Quezadaparre is jailed in lieu of $200,000 bond. Wade is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond. Covington is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond. Blacksmith’s bond is set at $100,000.
