Fugitive Killed Ex-Girlfriend's New Boyfriend: Nashville Police
Nashville police are searching for a 28-year-old who shot and killed his ex's new boyfriend Monday outside a South Nashville apartment.

NASHVILLE, TN — Pavan Voleti waited outside his ex-girlfriend's South Nashville apartment and waited for her and her new boyfriend to leave Monday afternoon, according to police, and when the 28-year-old saw his ex and William Thomas Lee III, 31, he approached them.
The woman and Lee sat in a car and they and Voleti began to argue. Then, according to detectives, Voleti fired a gun, hitting Lee who was in the passenger seat. Lee was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. Voleti fled in a white BMW sedan which was later recovered near Lenox Village. Voleti, who police consider armed and dangerous, may have fled in a different getaway vehicle.
