Grill Fire Destroys Two Nipper's Corners Townhouses
At least three families are homeless after a fast-spreading fire left two Nipper's Corners townhouses uninhabitable Sunday.

NASHVILLE, TN — Buffeted by gusty winds, a fast-spreading grill fire left two Nipper's Corners townhouses uninhabitable and at least three families homeless Sunday night.
The fire, which started on a grill on a balcony at the condos on Lazy Creek Lane near Edmondson Pike and Old Hickory Boulevard, was reported around 7 p.m. The flames jumped up the side of one of the the buildings, into the attic and roof and then jumped to an adjacent building. Eleven Nashville Fire Department trucks responded to the scene and were on the scene until nearly 10 p.m. No one was injured but three units were destroyed, leaving three families homeless, and three others had significant damage.
