Hissing Megaphone Causes Bomb Scare At Nashville School
Nashville School of the Arts went on lockdown for a suspicious package, which ended up being a hissing megaphone.

NASHVILLE, TN — The first day of classes at Nashville School of the Arts was interrupted by a lockdown caused by a reported suspicious package that was ultimately found to be as unusual as it was non-threatening.
Around 8:30 a.m. Monday, a law enforcement officer walking past a trash can at the Foster Avenue magnet school heard a "hissing" sound and called in the Nashville Fire Department.

Police locked down the schools and fire crews arrived, discovering a duffel bag inside the trash can. They then safely detonated the duffel bag.
After the detonation, investigators found the duffel bag held an old megaphone.

The scene was cleared and the lockdown lifted by 11 a.m.
