Man Dies After Being Hit by Car in South Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN — A 40-year-old man who was hit by a Dodge Charger while crossing a road in South Nashville Sunday died from his injuries Thursday, according to Metro Police.

Ni Soc was walking across Wallace Road around 6 p.m. Sunday when he was hit by the Charger driven by Mya Gleaves, 38. Soc was not in the crosswalk, according to police.

Investigators said there was no indication of drug or alcohol use by either Soc or Gleaves.
