Man Jailed For Setting Abandoned South Nashville Home Afire
With help from witnesses, an alleged arsonist was arrested shortly after a South Nashville home caught fire.
NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police arrested a 42-year-old man for a mid-afternoon arson Saturday in South Nashville.
Witnesses told investigators they saw Christopher Fautt leave a home on Logan Street moments before it was engulfed in flames. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)
Police found Fautt soon thereafter at a nearby apartment complex with a lighter inhis pocket.

He is charged with arson and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
