Man Shot in Leg in Apparent Botched Robbery in South Nashville
Police searching for suspect in early-morning Fairfield Avenue shooting

A man was shot in the leg in an apparent failed robbery in South Nashville.
Police tell WSMV the man called 911 around 6:30 Monday morning to say he had been shot in the leg two hours earlier during the course of an ultimately-unsuccessful robbery attempt on Fairfield Avenue.
The man is in good condition at a local hospital. Police are looking for the suspects.
