A Molotov Cocktail In Antioch?

Metro Police believe a truck may have been hit by a failed Molotov cocktail in Antioch late Tuesday night.

ANTIOCH, TN — Metro Police believe a truck may have been hit by a dud Molotov cocktail in Antioch late Tuesday.

Around 11 p.m. Tuesday, a truck driving in the 2700 block of Murfreesboro Pike, near Bell Road, was struck by a glass container and that another bottle broke on the road nearby.

Neither device ignited, but investigators are considering the possibility that both were some version of the improvised grenade made with a bottle.
