Motorcyclist Killed In Tuesday Night I-24 Crash

A high-speed crash on Interstate 24 near Bell Road Tuesday killed a motorcyclist.

ANTIOCH, TN — A motorcyclist died after a high-speed crash on Interstate 24 Tuesday night near Bell Road.

Witnesses reported seeing the motorcycle and a white car speeding on the interstate just after 8:30 p.m. The motorcycle hit a car and that car then spun out and struck a guardrail.

Following the crash, the motorcyclist was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died. The driver of the car hit by the motorcycle had minor injuries and the white car left the scene.

A stretch of the interstate was closed for clean-up and investigation until shortly after 1 a.m.
