Murfreesboro Road Restaurant Owner Shot Dead
Witness told police the owner of Ibex Ethiopian was killed just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

NASHVILLE, TN — The owner of a South Nashville bar was shot dead inside his restaurant early Sunday morning. Gitem Demissie, 41, was killed by a masked gunman inside Ibex Ethopian Bar & Restaurant as he was closing for the night.
Demissie was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the gunman is a light-skinned male with a thin build, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall. He was wearing a mask, black long sleeved shirt, and black jeans.
