Nashville Police Seek Trio in Vicious 12South Home Invasion

NASHVILLE, TN — Three masked men assaulted two women during a home invasion in the 12South neighborhood early Tuesday morning, according to Metro Police.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m., three people bolted into a home in the 1200 block of Elmwood Avenue assaulting the women inside.

At least one of the suspects fired shots, according to authorities.

A man who was in the house alerted a neighbor and the suspects fled.

The neighbor transported the man to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a cut to the head and a graze wound from a bullet.

As of Tuesday morning, the suspects remained at large.
