Pedestrian Killed in South Nashville Hit and Run
The police have found the car believed to be involved, but the search for the driver is ongoing.
ANTIOCH, TN — A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed late Wednesday on Murfreesboro Pike.
Police say the victim, who was not in the crosswalk, was struck around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday and was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the car fled.
Witnesses saw a metallic-silver sedan hit the victim and speed away. A car matching the description was found abandoned at Faith, Love & Hope Fellowship Church on Mt. View Road around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. The car is at the crime lab as police search for the diver.
