Pedestrian Killed In South Nashville Hit And Run
After being booted from a homeless camp for drunkenness, a man was struck and killed by a hit and run driver on Murfreesboro Pike.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police are searching for a hit and run driver who killed a pedestrian on Murfreesboro Pike late Monday.
The victim, who has not been identified, was crossing Murfreesboro Pike near Vultee Boulevard after being kicked out of a nearby homeless camp for drunkenness. He was hit by a car around 11:30 p.m and died on the scene.

Police do not have a description of the driver or the car, but are checking nearby businesses for surveillance footage which may aid the investigation.
