Pedestrian Walks into Traffic, Hit By Car
The driver who struck the pedestrian on Lafayette did not have time to stop, police say.

SOUTH NASHVILLE, TN — A pedestrian who walked into traffic in South Nashville Sunday night is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Metro Police say the pedestrian stepped into Lafayette near the intersection with Second Avenue South and was hit by a passing car around 9:30 p.m.. Investigators say the driver did not have time to stop before hitting the walker.
The identities of the driver and pedestrian were not released.
