Police Make Quick Catch of South Nashville Carjacking Suspect
After allegedly stealing a car, the suspect tried a foot escape, which did not work out.

SOUTH NASHVILLE, TN — An alleged carjacker tried to run but he didn't get far.
Police say a man was leaving a relative's home around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of Albion Street south of downtown, when the suspect got into the car, aimed a gun and demanded both the vehicle and the victim's personal property.
The victim complied and called the police, who spotted the car a few minutes later near the J.C. Napier Homes. The suspect then tried to flee on foot, but was quickly arrested by police.

The victim was not injured.
