Police Pursue Pair Purloining Purses At Publix

A couple have been stealing purses from shopping carts at local Publix stores, Metro police say.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police detectives are working to identify a couple who have been stealing purses from unattended carts at two South Nashville Publixes.

The thefts were reported at the stores at the intersection of Concord Road and Nolensville Pike and the intersection of OHB and Edmonsdson Pike. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)

The thefts were reported July 7 and 9.
