Police Search For Getaway Car, Find Dead Body

Metro Police searching for a car used in recent robberies instead found a man dead in a Bell Road parking lot.

ANTIOCH, TN — While searching for a car believed to be connected to a series of recent South Nashville robberies, Metro Police instead found a dead body in a car in a Bell Road parking lot late Tuesday.

Patrolmen were searching the area for a black Mazda and spotted one in a grocery store parking lot. It was not the alleged getaway car; however, police did find a man slumped over dead in the front seat.
