Police Searching For South Nashville Box-Cutter Attacker

SOUTH NASHVILLE, TN — A box-cutter-wielding attacker is on the run Tuesday after stabbing a man in a South Nashville apartment.

Shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday, the suspect knocked on the door of an apartment on Lewis Street. The resident came out and a discussion escalated into an argument, ending with the box-cutter attack. The victim was cut several times on the legs.

The suspect, who police believe knew the victim, fled and remains at-large.
