Police Seek Nolensville Road Bank Robber

An armed man held up a South Nashville Fifth Third Bank just before closing Friday.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police are searching for the man who robbed a Nolensville Road bank Friday. The man, wearing what was described as "a latex-type mask," walked into the Fifth Third Bank on Nolensville just minutes before the bank closed Friday night.

Investigators say the man walked briskly into the branch and up to a teller, pulling a gun and demanding money. He put the cash into a blue and black backpack and fled on foot toward Old Hickory Boulevard.

Police say the suspect is 6-feet-3-inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing a long black jacket, gray hoodie, red pants and white athletic shoes.
