Police Seek Suspect In South Nashville Murder

A 23-year-old man, considered armed and dangerous, is wanted for a Saturday night murder in South Nashville.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police are searching for a 23-year-old man wanted for shooting and killing another man following an argument Saturday night.

Investigators say Kevin Tidwell killed Jesus Alberto Flores, 24, after a verbal altercation at a convenience store on Richards Road Saturday. Tidwell, who Metro Police consider armed and dangerous, may be driving a newer model Ford F-150. Detectives say surveillance footage indicates Tidwell and Flores were arguing and then Flores left the store's parking lot in a Nissan Maxima. Tidwell gave chase in his pick-up and fired shots into the Maxima, police said.
