Several Saturday Crashes on I-24 Leave Four Injured
Two people are in critical condition after a string of car accidents near Briley Parkway.
NASHVILLE, TN — A car-accident chain-reaction put four people in the hospital Saturday, two of them in critical condition.
It began with a simple two-car accident on I-24 near Briley Parkway. One of the drivers left his car to check the damage and was struck by a third car. Then a passerby who had stopped to assist after the first crash was also hit.
Three people involved were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and two are in critical condition. The passerby was taken to Southern Hills with non-life-threatening injuries.
