Six children were taken to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital with minor injuries following a Wednesday afternoon bus wreck

NASHVILLE, TN — Six students from South Nashville's Wright Middle School suffered minor injuries after a Wednesday evening school bus crash on McCall Street.
The bus wreck occurred around 4 p.m. less than a mile from the Paragon Mills school and the children were taken to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt for treatment.
School spokesman Joe Bass said the children taken to the hospital were complaining of wrist pain and that all of the students on the bus were checked by emergency personnel. Those not taken to the hospital were transported via a back-up bus.
