A half hour later, a pair of men used a sledgehammer to break the window at the McDonald's on Nolensville Road near Interstate 440. They then held the employees at gunpoint and demanded money, fleeing on foot with cash from the safe. Police tracked the men to a nearby area where it's believed they got in a car.
Despite the proximity of the robberies, police will not confirm if the suspects in both are the same.
