Smoke From South Nashville House Fire Seen For Miles
A duplex undergoing renovation caught fire mysteriously Thursday.

NASHVILLE, TN — Smoke from a south Nashville house fire could be seen across the city Thursday morning.
The Nashville Fire Department was called to a home ablaze on the 100 block of Third Avenue South at 6:45 a.m. Thursday. The house is a duplex in the midst of a renovation. No one was home, but the electricity at the house was turned on.
NFD was able to put out the fire quickly. An investigation is underway.
