South Nashville Car Lot Struck By Break-In, Arson

Someone left a burning van outside of a South Nashville car lot and rifled through some papers.

NASHVILLE, TN — A stolen van was set on fire outside of a South Nashville car lot early Thursday morning and paper in the dealership's office were rifled through.

Metro Police received a burglary call at BBB Auto Sales on Nolensville Pike and, upon arrival, saw that the front door had been broken into. They later discovered the burned-out shell of a conversion van. The van had been reported stolen out of Maury County.

Nothing was taken from the lot, but whoever broke in did go through paperwork in the office.
