South Nashville Car Lot Thief Wears Gloves, Forgets They Are Fingerless

A South Nashville thief didn't bother disguising himself, though he did wear gloves. Fingerless gloves.

NASHVILLE, TN — A brazen burglar broke into a South Nashville car lot that teems with surveillance cameras. The alleged thief did not bother concealing himself, though he did put on a pair of gloves. The gloves were fingerless.

Employees at Blue Car on Nolensville Pike say surveillance footage showed the man trying to pry a door and then busting in by throwing a flower pot through a window.

The video shows a man rifling drawers and finally taking a set of keys, employees told WKRN.

The man allegedly took a Nissan truck, backed it into another car and then crashed on an exit ramp. A passerby, seeing the man badly bleeding, asked if he needed help, which he refused.

Nevertheless, the alleged thief went to the hospital and police tracked him down.
