South Nashville Dollar General Robbed At Gunpoint

Detectives are working to identify the four men who held up a South Nashville Dollar General June 8.

NASHVILLE, TN — Four men robbed a South Nashville Dollar General at gunpoint June 8, forcing employees to empty the store's cash register, according to police.

The four men approached two employees who were outside the business on break at 9:40 p.m and then forced the pair back into the store, locking the door behind them. They held employees at gunpoint while taking cash from the registers. They fled on foot but police believe they had a getaway vehicle nearby. The suspects are described as black men who appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s, according to investigators.
