South Nashville Robbery Thwarted By Kicks By From Helpful Bystander
A Good Samaritan kicked a would-be thief away from his 81-year-old victim.

NASHVILLE, TN — A passerby delivered a swift kick to the pants — literally — of a man trying to force an 81-year-old into the trunk of his car at knifepoint.
Metro Police say a man watched elderly shoppers exiting the Nolensville Pike Walmart on the morning of June 14 before following the 81-year-old man to his car. The suspect then grabbed the man, pulled a knife and ordered him into the trunk of his own car. It was then a third man pulled up in a black Ford F-150. He got out of the truck and kicked the suspect until he fled on foot towards Harding Place. Detectives want to speak to the Good Samaritan, who left before police arrived.
