Stabbing Ends Fight Over 'Territory' At South Nashville Walmart

One man was arrested and another hospitalized following an altercation about whose territory was whose outside a South Nashville Walmart.

NASHVILLE, TN — One man was arrested and another hospitalized following a territorial dispute near a South Nashville Walmart early Tuesday morning, according to Metro Police.

One of the men awoke the other, telling him to vacate the area. When he refused, the first man began punching. Eventually, he pulled out a knife and slashed the victim's face. The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect had minor injuries and was treated and released from Southern Hills Medical Center and was then booked for aggravated assault.
